More About Pleco Fishes:

Plecostomus, or “plecos” as they are often called, belong to the Family Loricariidae, which is the largest family of catfish in the world. There are more than 150 species of plecos are available in world as on Today. They help to keep the tank clean by eating algae and unwanted food that sinks to the bottom of the tank.

(L183) Starlight Bristlenose Pleco, also known as the White Seam Bristlenose Pleco. Its facial area becomes adorned with many bristle-like appendages beginning in sub-adulthood. This species is distinctly different than the many other more common bristlenose species, most of which are part of the Ancistrus cf. cirrhosus superspecies. The Starlight Bristlenose Pleco has an overall black body that is covered in bright spots and it also has a noticeable white seam on its dorsal fin and tail. Starlight Bristlenose Pleco is widely used in Aquarium hobby.
